esplanade 02june07

we went there to study~ then i started getting restless and decided to start shooting. Tea refused at first, but later obliged. haha
after that i asked her if she wanted to play with the camera, and this is what she took. (down)

i didnt know what she took until i got home. it seems to me that the guy is trying to please the girl. haha

even more in here....

after that i tried to take fotos of her and she kept moving...

and moving...
after that did a pose. lol...

there was more but she say its ugly. so i only posted some. i think you will see them in her blog if she decides to post all of them...

and then she went back to study~

i did too. but i felt restless (AGAIN) then i notice this child from opposite. looking over at us.

i wipped out the camera and started shooting again... she was good, she kept still...

yea, and she went back to being so hardworking... writing her notes... while i.... you should know... keep shooting...

damn! i was bored!

for fun...

after which we went to the forecourt for the performance by Noridan, called "Noridan episode 1". A little info on Noridan: founded in 2004, with a motto "we play, imagine, recycle", Noridan is a music performance group from South Korea that merges music, dance, mime and sports. in Noridan episode 1, a sonic playground was created by a mervellous percussion orchestra. with their message of recycling, all of Noridan's instruments are designed and made using industrial and domestic recycled materials. this was a earth-friendly whimsical experience!
in this pic : tea was like "quick quick quick!!! take!!" one of the members started playing with a baby in the audience... and the baby kinda matched huh? :)
they were full of energy and so into their performance... it was fun watching them...
look closely, you'll see a little girl among all the members. i was thinkin, "doesnt she need to go to school?"

they used plastic bottles, pipe-like things, plastic barrels and tyre rimes...

this was their "vehicle" again made out of scrap materials... but with a piano attached to it. they call it the "Sprocket", it's a funkey musical vehical that features 2nd story junk drum kit, trash marimba and a thongaphone, and various tuned percussive discoveries. the driver is situated in the center surrounded by 8 performers. afew of them can be hung in the air whirling around like a helicopter blade! the Sprocket is powered solely by human energy! the two person sitting on both sides of the Sprocket peddles and cycle the vehicle.
after that we sat down to rest...
and tea started scribbling down her thoughts-of-the-day...
got home. showered. DIRTY DANCING: HAVANA NIGHTS started airing.....
the cubans are such sexy dancers!! this american girl went to Cuba with her ballroom dancing thing, but went back with something new...
i thought she kinda looked like Brittney Murphy at some angles. but Murphy is better looking. sorry~ but she was HOT dancing tho...
whoa! in the cuban clubs, everyone was like gyrating upon everybody.... so cool! would love to visit one... :)
ok, after the movie ended. i went to the kitchen to get a glass of water and this is what i saw...
the banana's got tooooooo riped and fell off their "stem"... see the "stem" hanging without any bananas on it and with one, so sad and pathetic, on the floor. and i was like, "yea, okay~"

*never buy bananas that are WAY TOO RIPED... hahahahaha
